Mental Health of Afghan refugees in Iran

The research conducted by Kalafi, Hagh-Shenas and Ostovar wanted to investigate the mental health of Afghan refugees in Iran. Being forced to leave the home, relatives, leaving the known life can be unbelievably stressful and cause a lot of problems. Not only the economic, cultural or social problem but the ones connected with mental health. However, how many refugees suffer from psychiatric problems? According to researchers, one third of the 81 studied people suffer from mental health problems. They have noticed that mental health was not related to level of education or marital status.
